Forays and Field Trips
Forays are group outings in which mushrooms are identified by invited professionals or by a committee of experienced amateurs. New species are added only at forays where professionals are present to lead, or if the mushrooms are identified by committee, clearly by morphological, biochemical and microscopic examination and has a high probability of occurring in the area, according to the literature.
